CODI Login Information And Terms

The Colorado Disproportionate Impact Indicator (or CODI Indicator) is a resource developed by the Colorado Futures Center at CSU and the Colorado Energy Foundation. The purpose of the CODI Indicator is to provide users with a multi-variate analysis of key stressors at the census tract level throughout the state of Colorado. This tool is intended for use in understanding community needs and providing an informed response by entities seeking to address and invest in solutions that will improve social, economic and environmental conditions in the community.

Intended users include the following:

  1. Nonprofit agencies (501c(3) organizations) seeking to better understand community needs and direct programming resources more effectively;

  2. Public agencies such as municipalities, counties and state agencies who seek to supplement community-based data with a broader range of variables.

In addition to the intended users noted above, the Colorado Energy Foundation is working with stakeholders and partners to provide access to other types of users, including philanthropic foundations who wish to use data to inform investments and funding priorities and corporate partners seeking to develop meaningful and informed community investment and engagement strategies. This tool is not intended for private use or personal gain, and all users are required to abide by the intended uses specified in this policy. The Colorado Energy Foundation reserves the right to revoke access to any user who is violating the intended use and community benefit of the CODI Indicator.

The CODI Indicator is a robust tool that can provide a significant level of insight into community needs. As such, all authorized users of the CODI Indicator are required to view the CODI Indicator Overview training video to ensure that the data contained within the CODI Indicator is interpreted and used accurately and in accordance with best practice.

Users are prohibited from sharing their user credentials with others who have not been registered and approved as users with the Colorado Energy Foundation. The Colorado Energy Foundation reserves the right to decline access to any user for any reason. Users may be required to periodically update their user registration with the Colorado Energy Foundation in order to maintain access to the CODI Indicator.
